Enterprise Advice and Support
NYBEP’S Enterprise Advisory Service supports secondary schools with the delivery of enterprise education, and in particular the implementation of the enterprise entitlement for all students at Key Stage 4.
We do this by:
- working with Senior Leadership Teams and practitioners to further develop their understanding of enterprise - how it links to other school priorities and how it can be embedded within the whole curriculum;
- supporting schools with the integration of enterprise activities and interventions to respond to a number of government-driven agendas and initiatives;
- offering a range of practical activities and resources that contextualise teaching and learning, and encourage the development of core employability skills, such as creativity, communication, teamworking, problem-solving and resilience;
- working with businesses and other external partners to host a range of county- and region-wide events, such as Venturefest Yorkshire, The Enterprise Show and The Real Business Challenge.
