14-19 Operations
NYBEP provides advice, information and practical support on the 14-19 agenda to individual schools, colleges and learning partnerships across York and North Yorkshire - helping to create the best possible opportunities for young people. We engage businesses in a range of activities, at various levels and right across economic sectors, in order to ensure that learning for young people is given a real-life context, and employers can be more involved in the development of their future workforce.
We are able to provide schools, colleges and learning partnerships with up to date information and support, as well as guidance on the successful management of work-based learning which lies at the heart of the 14-19 agenda. Our fieldworker network extends throughout the whole of York and North Yorkshire, responding to the rapidly changing curriculum and ensuring localised progression and enrichment opportunities, as well as employer involvement, maintain a high profile.
