How can NYBEP be more responsive to the needs of its customers?

As a business we have a board of directors who oversee the governance of the company and ensure we meet all our legal and financial obligations. However, our Directors are much more than that. They are the people who help us to develop and grow the business, and ensure that we meet the needs of our customers. That is why our Directors are drawn from our customer base and can influence the way in which we design and deliver our programmes, the way in which we communicate with and support schools and employers, and the people who determine our priorities, our strategic objectives and plans.

Currently we have two headteachers serving on our board, one secondary, one primary. They have played a key role over recent times in helping us to rethink our approach in light of funding cuts to achieve business continuity. We now want to strengthen our board by recruiting a further secondary headteacher to bring an additional perspective to our work. Could that be you or your headteacher?
